Case Study: Chegworth Valley

We loved completing this project with Chegworth Valley recently for their new juice launch, so we thought we would show you what we got up to…

The Brief

Based in the heart of the Kentish Countryside, Chegworth Valley is a farm producing a wide range of award-winning natural juices, grown and pressed on-site. Family is at the centre of the business, and their social media is full of busy day-to-day activities on the farm.

We have had the pleasure of working with Chegworth Valley on several occasions, but this particular project was focused on the release of their new ‘beets’ juice: A glorious sweet and silky beetroot juice with a hint of apple and numerous health benefits.

The client needed a range of images for different purposes, including press releases, farmers market displays and E-commerce, as well as a top-up on content for their other products.

After developing a mood board with the client, we agreed on a style for the shoot. We wanted to recreate the friendly, family farm feel of the business within the shoot, whilst letting the bright, mouth-watering juices steal the show.

To do this, we developed a series of ‘real-life’ scenarios. These used a ‘natural’ style of lighting and rustic props, to encapsulate the moment someone treats themselves to one of Chegworth Valley’s tasty juices. For example, one focused on a breakfast scene with soft, low morning light peeping through the window. Another captured a scorching summer afternoon scene set on a garden table.

The Final Product

A couple of images from the shoot are shown below. We particularly like how much the lighting style changes the overall mood of each image, and how dark and luxurious the beetroot juice looks.

We were also really proud of the speed of turnover for this project. We are quite busy at the moment, but managed to squeeze this project in. Just 10 days after receiving the client’s email, the shoot was designed, shot, edited, and sent to the client. We try to make using our images is as straightforward as possible for our clients, so each image is provided in several formats specific to their desired use, whether it is social media, fliers, information boards, and so on.

It was wonderful to hear the client was also really happy with the final product, saying: “These are brilliant, thank you so much, they are exactly what we wanted!!”

We hope you like them just as much :)
